The weekend of December 29th-30th  is the 5th Sunday collection for our St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) Conference at St. John Vianney Church. This is the  primary way that our parish reaches out to those in need within our community. Through your generosity and support we provide food, gas, rent and utility assistance to families, and basic necessities for our homeless neighbors in the Walnut Creek and Concord areas. All of the funding for this important mission comes from these four special collections throughout the year, so they are critical to sustaining our work. Please be generous in contributing so that we can carry on the work of the Lord, who tells us in Matthew 25:40, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

And, if you have a heart for helping those in need, we invite you to consider joining the St. Vincent de Paul ministry. Please email  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information. Thank you!
