Confirmation is a sacrament of spiritual growth that enables a person to stand before the world as a witness to the power of the Holy Spirit. The person being confirmed is committed to Christ and is ready to be a responsible worker in the Christian community.

Adults who are not baptized enter a formation process called the Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). After an adequate period of preparation, adult baptisms are celebrated annually at the Saturday night Vigil on the Eve of Easter. To talk about your own questions or desires about baptism contact:

At St. John Vianney Church, our First Reconciliation and First Eucharist preparation programs are parish-based programs. Children who attend our Parish Faith Formation classes, as well as those in a Catholic school, come together to prepare for these Sacraments.

Church arrangements for wedding must be made at least six (6) months prior to the wedding. We strongly advise making arrangements with the Church before signing contracts for reception plans. Anointing of the Sick brings Jesus healing, comfort, and strength to those who are seriously ill, elderly, or in danger of death. Communal Healing Liturgies are held twice a year, during the spring and fall.
