Saint John Vianney parish is proud to be a part of the Visit of the Pilgrim Cross beginning Friday, September 13th through Friday September 27th. The Parish Visitation of the replica of the first cross planted by Magellan in the Philippines is an important part of the Diocesan celebration of the 5th Centenary of Filipino Catholic Evangelization. The visitation gives all parishioners, especially Filipinos, the chance to pray together and be thankful for the gift of Christian Faith.
Starting Sunday, September 15th and every day during through September 26th, all are invited to gather daily at the foot of the Pilgrim Cross and to pray together at 6PM for various intentions. It is also a wonderful time to offer thanks to God for the all the blessings He has bestowed on us.
There will be a Mass for Welcoming on Saturday, September 14th at 5PM followed by hospitality in Mullen Commons. There will be a send off Mass at the end of the visit on Friday, September 27th at 8:30AM.
Join us for prayer and worship as we celebrate our Faith!
