I'm New

Our parish has grown and changed since 1965 when a handful of enthusiastic people joined hands on the grounds of today’s Walnut Creek Intermediate School to begin the exciting adventure of friendship with one another in discipleship to our Lord Jesus…

…from a handful of believers gathered then into a thriving community of nearly 2500 households

…from one building housing the first pastor, Fr. Bill Mullen, in the home of the historic Marchbank horse farm into an expanded parish house and offices, a church building a faith formation building and our parish center named for that pastor, Mullen Commons…

…from a few ministry groups to over 50 ministries that teach, pray, study, play, socialize, decorate, sing, serve the parish, serve those in need locally and support projects in the larger community which include people of all ages and from all walks of life.

We welcome you to St. John Vianney Catholic Church! We are delighted that you are becoming a part of our parish family and encourage you to register so that we can stay in touch. St. John’s is a vibrant parish community and includes a wide range of people from the neighborhood and beyond. Singles, young couples, families, and seniors are all integral members of our parish, and we look forward to welcoming you into our family.
